Timhotel Tour Eiffel

I was traveling solo, so the small room didn't bother me, and the bed was comfortable with all the amenities I needed. The staff were friendly and let me check in early. The hotel is close to the metro but quiet, though the hallways to some rooms are very narrow. For the price and location, I'd give it 4.5 stars. Paris property is expensive, so small rooms are to be expected.

The staff were good, and the hotel is very close to the metro and the Eiffel Tower. My room was small, which was okay for me as a solo traveler, but the entrance walkway was like a little tunnel. Luckily, I'm small and thin. There was a strong, unpleasant smell as soon as I entered, and the toilet was tiny. The same very limited breakfast was served every day. There was no toothbrush or toothpaste in the room; I was told they had run out. I paid RM 1900 including city tax, so I expected even those basic amenities.

After the hotel responded to our comments, I still wouldn't recommend staying here, even for free. A small booking issue could ruin your vacation. I had the same booking details for three nights at Radisson Blu Paris Disneyland and had no trouble, and the hotel we found at 6 PM that day also accepted those details and treated us with more empathy. At Tim Hotel Paris, our 1.5-year-old baby's name was missing from the booking, and after our long journey the staff wouldn't help, leaving us stranded in Paris. Their manner felt rude, uncooperative, and without empathy. We had to find another place at 6 PM and pay a much higher rate. It was completely unacceptable, and I would never recommend this hotel.

David is a real asset to the hotel. He's a genuinely great guy and goes out of his way to make guests feel welcome.
