My friend and I spent about half an hour trying to get into our room before we left. The door code we were given didn't work, and the physical key from the lockbox wouldn't open it either. We called for help, but they just kept telling us, “Turn the key harder.” We didn't feel safe staying somewhere we couldn't enter, with nobody nearby to help. We offered to use another room with a working code, but got no response. A man arrived 50 minutes later and managed to open the door, though the video they sent shows he struggled too. They refused a refund. With service like this, I'd avoid the place unless you can spare two hours of your vacation trying to open a door. Stay somewhere with a front desk.

Breakfast was a lovely basket of bread, croissants, and fresh orange juice, with coffee made by the housekeeper. It wasn't a buffet, and deserves five stars. Check-in was easy online, the PIN codes arrived ahead of time, and we could leave our luggage with the housekeeper. The hotel is 200m from Metro line 8 and within walking distance of the Louvre and Gare du Nord. Unfortunately, the rooms aren't soundproofed, so in the morning you can hear people opening doors and walking along the aisle.

Patricia, one of the attendants, was so sweet. She bought me a cupcake and decorated my room for my birthday, which was amazing. The hotel was clean and new, very well located, and had a wonderful breakfast. It was my best experience in Paris, and I can't wait to go back.

The room was clean, and one housekeeper was kind, though communicating with one staff member in English was difficult. The rest of the stay was awful. There’s no reception, and I couldn’t leave my luggage before check-in or after checkout. It felt like a shared apartment rather than a hotel or Airbnb. The room was so tiny I couldn’t open my large suitcase. There was no fridge, safe, air conditioning, heater, closet, or table, just one stool. Literally nothing else. There was no view or privacy either, since people in the office opposite could easily see into my room. The worst experience of my whole trip around Europe.

The entrance felt sketchy, the rooms looked worse than the pictures, and there was no AC. The shower drain was clogged, and nobody replied to my messages. I wish I’d never booked this place.
