A great stay overall, with friendly staff who were really helpful. They texted the day before we arrived with entry details and an offer of breakfast. We passed, though the coffee smelled lovely in the morning. The hotel is in a great part of Paris, and the rooms are comfortable, even if they’re quite small. That wasn’t a problem since we only used ours to sleep and get ready. The room was generally clean, but I noticed black mould around the shower and a little around the vents and ceiling. There were just two plug sockets, both in the same spot on an extension lead. The heating and cooling wouldn’t go below 17C, which felt too warm for us. It would be better to have more control over it.

Step outside and the Latin Quarters’ cafes, bakeries, and restaurants are right there, so hunger won’t be an issue even though breakfast is basic. The staff are really sweet, and the rooms are neat and clean. Odeon metro is just two minutes away, with St Michel about seven minutes off, making it easy to get around Paris. A little gem for a stay in the city.

We stayed two nights and wouldn’t come back. The area seemed decent and safe, and the front desk staff were very nice, but the shower floor was covered in mold. Both bed pillows smelled of dirty mildew, so we slept with bathroom towels over them.

The employees were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed our stay. It’s a nice, affordable hotel close to lots of tourist attractions.
