Breakfast was supposed to start at 7am, but on Monday it didn’t open until 7.45, before our team had to get to work. The breakfast selection was poor. Damp towels in the room weren’t taken care of, and the room didn’t seem to be cleaned during my stay. I felt I paid too much for what it was.

The rooms were good and the hotel was very nice, with secure covered parking for motorcycles. It was very hot during our visit, though, and neither the rooms nor the public areas had air conditioning.

We were pleasantly surprised by the restaurant. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the rooms clean and comfortable. We had to leave early on Sunday, and they kindly served breakfast half an hour ahead of schedule. Don’t let the hotel’s appearance put you off.

The restaurant serves traditional French food that’s superbly cooked, and the rooms are pleasant. The hotel has a lovely, friendly feel, with staff who are very obliging. I’d definitely recommend it.

The accommodation had all the usual things you’d expect from a hotel, and I found it comfortable. The food was tasty and reasonably priced.
