There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and parking is ample. The hotel is clean and quiet, and a good value if you don’t want to spend much. The management team is welcoming and friendly, as well as professional. One of the handiest, best-value places to stay in Pau.

We’re trying to get back something we left here that belongs to our baby, but we can’t get through to anyone. The phone number doesn’t work and our emails haven’t been answered. We just want to collect our baby’s things. Is that really so difficult?

The room was basic and a little worn, so I wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay, but it worked well as an overnight stop. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We brought our cat and were charged a very reasonable €5 for extra cleaning. There are several restaurants nearby, and it’s convenient for getting out of Pau during the morning rush.

The reception staff were very nice and helpful, and the room was cleaned daily. It’s about 5 km from the city centre, but handy for businesses outside Pau and a quick drive away. There was always a parking space, with two restaurants nearby. I did miss having a kettle and hairdryer in the room. Still, I’ll be back!

6/10
The room was clean and small but adequate, just what we wanted. Getting extra pillows was no problem. The air conditioning wasn’t switched on, the receptionist said, and suggested opening the window if we were too warm. We did, but machinery noise kept us awake all night. Room 210 also had a noise that sounded like it came from some kind of pump. If the air con had worked, we’d have been happy.
