The room was extremely hot when I arrived, and the air conditioning was loud without doing much to cool it. You could hear everything from next door and outside, with no sound insulation at all. There were stains in the room and shower, the room wasn’t very clean, and I found ants. The bathroom was tiny. Rooms are the same size whether you book for one person or two. I had a kettle and other things, but the people next door only had sugar and one cup. Breakfast wasn’t much, even though we got there quite early. There were dead flies by the coffee machine and window, and the smell was awful.

Don’t book here. The room was very small and had no working air conditioning, which I could have put up with. But they didn’t change the sheets, towels, or even the toilet paper. An employee also asked me for 20 euros for a COVID screen for me and my colleague in our room, which was relevant at the time. I never saw the screen or got my money back, and the other employees acted like they didn’t know anything about it. Go somewhere else. On a side note, I helped a lovely older Asian couple sort out their booking because they were having trouble getting to their room. The guy on the phone was incredibly rude.

The location is good, and there was warm water and wi-fi. The staff were kind, but I had trouble communicating with the manager. Our room was dirty, and some breakfast food had expired. I wouldn’t recommend it.

It’s in Pau’s old city centre, close to restaurants and well located. There’s no reception, everything is accessed digitally using codes. Nice hotel.
