The house has lovely details everywhere, from its wooden beams and lace curtains to the windows looking out over Honfleur’s rooftops. Breakfast was worth lingering over, with fresh bread, sunny-tasting jams, and strong coffee for a day wandering the cobbled streets and harbour. Aline makes the place feel like home as soon as you arrive. She’s kind and thoughtful, always ready with a smile or a story, and you feel more like a friend than a guest. Staying at her bed and breakfast in Honfleur felt like a pause I’ll remember for a long time. I left with a full heart and was already thinking about coming back.

The rooms feel authentic but are clean, and there’s a kettle so you can make hot drinks whenever you like. It’s only a five-minute walk to the beach. I came to write, and the house and garden were just right for it. The hosts were welcoming, helpful, and discreet. Thanks again, Robert and Aline.

There are only five rooms, so book ahead. This is a quiet, dog-friendly cottage in a beautiful, almost heavenly setting. It’s ideally located between Honfleur and Deauville, both 10-20 minutes away, with a peaceful, secluded beach a five-minute walk away. The photos speak for themselves. We’ll definitely be back!

There are just five rooms, and four of them are very spacious. Check the layout carefully if you book one of the top-floor doubles, though, because getting to the toilet is quite a challenge. Robert and his mother are very friendly, and the breakfast is more than good. A lovely, welcoming chambre d’hôte. We’ll be back.

It feels like a little French cottage from a Disney movie. The lovely French lady makes a fantastic breakfast every morning, and they’re both very nice. Highly recommend.
