We stopped in for drinks and didn’t try the hotel, so I can’t comment on that. It’s a lovely place for a pause, with quiet surroundings, an authentic feel, and scenic views.

We came for lunch on Saturday and had a lovely time with friends out on the terrace. It’s a peaceful, distinctive spot tucked among beautiful greenery, with impeccable service and a menu that really suited a warm summer day. Our two friends visiting from Franche-Comté enjoyed the convivial time as much as we did. The village itself is charming. We got there over the mountain pass, which is pretty steep but gives you lovely views. Keep an eye out for the crazy cyclists you might meet on the way.
