Chambres d'Hôtes Couleurs du Temps

Luc’s warm hospitality at this chambre d’hôte made our stay. He welcomed us, showed us to the second-floor room, and suggested some good local restaurants. The room was nicely decorated, had all the conveniences we expected and more, and felt like home. We enjoyed dinner and a late walk in the center, then slept very well in the quiet neighborhood. That mattered to us, as we’d read that traffic noise can be a problem at some hotels, and a passing motorcycle can spoil a night’s sleep. We warmly recommend the place.

The owners were exceptionally helpful and very friendly. The room was beautiful, and the location was ideal.

Luc was a friendly, helpful host who went out of his way to accommodate us. We had a terrific time in Perigueux. The location is fabulous, and the room was spacious and well appointed, with a comfortable bed and excellent shower. Breakfast was delicious too.

Luc was a gracious host, and his English was a real help since we don’t speak French. He brought a lovely breakfast to our room, with homemade yogurt and jam. We stayed two nights at La Couleurs du Temps on our first stop after a Viking cruise in the Bordeaux region. His home is on a beautiful, quiet street near the town center, with two guest rooms in the house, each with an en suite bathroom. There’s plenty of space and thoughtful equipment, including a small fridge, microwave, espresso maker, dishes, and silverware. The Italian-style shower has a large sink, with a separate WC. I’d highly recommend staying here.
