Campanile Peronne

This is a family run place in a quiet location, with spotless rooms and even dusted car park signs. Nothing seems too much trouble, and the home cooked food is great. Breakfast is meant to finish at 9-30, but we were still there at 10 and nobody rushed us. Dog friendly rooms too. It may be listed as 3 star, but it punches well above its weight. If you're after a 5 star hotel, this isn't it. But for a friendly, spotless stay, it's the place.

The smell in the room was unbearable, and I had to leave immediately without staying the night. Everything looked and felt dirty, old, and neglected. It was one of the worst hotel stays I've had. I asked for a refund since I couldn't stay, but they refused. They clearly don't care about their guests or the state of their rooms. I'd strongly advise staying away and not wasting your money or time.

The rooms were in poor condition for 97 euro’s, and every room had an air conditioner that didn't work. The manager said they'd been out of order for 3 years and blamed the maintenance company. In my opinion, that's a poor excuse. At night there was a lot of noise from drunk Eastern Europe working people. Apart from reception and the breakfast area, everything was in poor condition. The place felt outdated for the price, and the manager was chaotic and not used to business travellers. Even with the nice weather that week, last week April 2025, the terrace, garden, and chairs were poorly maintained. Our group of 7 guests moved on after 2 not so good weeks here. It was handy for our work site, which made it bad for us. Our project is due to end around september 2025, so losing our business is bad for the hotel too.

The Motel looked a bit shabby outside when we arrived, though they were updating the exterior during our visit. The staff we met were friendly and helpful. We didn't eat dinner there, but the buffet style continental breakfast was tasty.
