We stayed five nights with our young children and had a lovely time. The site has a great little pool, a small play area, ping pong, ice creams, and a food truck. Showers had plenty of hot water and no queues, and the staff were friendly. Excellent value. There's also a bigger village park about a 10 minute walk away, or a short drive along the road beside a lake. It has mini golf, a rope activity centre, canoeing, and more. The museum in the village was brilliant too. Highly recommend.

The pool was lovely, and hiring bikes from the site was nice. But we cut our stay short and left after one night. The toilets hadn't been cleaned in the 24 hours we were there, and other guests hadn't looked after the facilities, so they were really disgusting. Nobody was there to greet us when we arrived. A fence post marked where to pitch up, and we had to go to reception later that evening to check in properly. The food van wasn't open on Tuesdays. In the evening the gate was locked and you needed a code to get in and out. We walked to the nearby town and didn't feel very safe, so I wouldn't recommend it.

We stopped here for a night on our way back to the UK. It was a quiet site with a good atmosphere and a very good price. The toilet block was clean, the showers were warm, and there was a pool for cooling off in the hot weather. We would have liked soap in the toilets.

We expected to stay one night on our way south, but ended up staying three. It was a relaxed campsite with nice people, clean bathrooms, a pool, and even a playground for little children. The surrounding area is very much tied to the Great War, and we found it really impressive.

Really welcoming staff, and the campsite was clean and tidy. Lidl in the town centre is an easy walk away, and fresh bread is available onsite every morning. Excellent campsite.
