Appart Hotel Spa Perpignan

The staff made us feel so welcome. I was ready to check in using my very basic French, but everyone we spoke to was great in English and took time to chat. They made it feel like nothing would be too much trouble. We booked for the rugby and ended up staying three nights, wishing we’d stayed longer. Our apartment had a cinema screen that our five-year-old loved, and we got Netflix playing in English. The little kitchen had everything we needed, including minibar items at what seemed like reasonable prices, though we’d already shopped and didn’t use them. The bathroom was lovely, there were plenty of towels, and the roof terrace was amazing. The immediate area isn’t anything special, but the apartment is worth a visit and makes it easy to get around. There’s a bus stop right outside, with a 15/20-minute ride into town. We had a car, and the beach was only a 20-minute drive away.

We had a wonderful stay in the family apartment with our kids. There was plenty of room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a great individual breakfast. Parking right in front felt safe and even had space for a van. We got a very warm welcome, too. We’d definitely come back in spring or summer to enjoy the garden and outdoor areas. Thanks for having us!

Marina was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and did everything she could to make our stay comfortable. We were travelling with our dog, who was made just as welcome. The building has been beautifully restored by its owners, and the rooms feel like small luxury apartments, with a good-sized fridge and lots of thoughtful details. The bed was really comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were great. Top marks all round, a lovely place to stay.

Marina and her staff were extremely kind and helpful, and speak French, Spanish, and English. When we asked about laundry, they offered to do it for us, which was a great bonus. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated, with a kitchen, a nice balcony or porch, and an outstanding spa tub that we really enjoyed. You need to call ahead for a gate code, or call so someone can open the gate for you. There’s at least one flight of stairs to reach the room.
