Julien was extremely rude and unprofessional when we called about our booking. We'd booked a room for one night next week by mistake and politely asked if we could move it to today, since the hotel still showed full availability for one night and one person. He made no effort to understand, then hung up on us. I've rarely encountered such poor service in hospitality. If guests are treated this way before they even arrive, it's hardly surprising they might not come back.

The breakfast was a strong point, with a good variety of buffet items, and the secured customer parking was a plus. My stay was average overall. I'd stayed at Ibis-Budget hotels before, so I knew what to expect from an economy option. This time I chose the non-budget hotel hoping for better, though maybe my expectations were too high. I stayed in Room No. 10 on 26 March 2024. The shower drainage was blocked and water pooled in the shower area. I told the administration, and a staff member said she'd made a note, but nothing seemed to happen. I couldn't shower before checking out. The room was average, much like an Ibis Budget room, with nothing especially bad or extraordinary.

The room was so poor that I seriously considered moving to another hotel. It was worn out and outdated, the wifi was poor, there was only one power outlet for either your phone or computer, and the TV was child-sized. The toilet only flushed after about ten pushes of the button. It was not worth 70 euros a night or close to a 3-star hotel, more like 1 star. There was no kettle or toaster in the room, although those were listed as included amenities. The stay was poor and expensive, and I'd ask for a refund if I could. They should lower the rate, and in this situation the budget option is better. This was my third stay at this chain during my last week in France, and it wasn't charming. The receptionist was ill-mannered to other guests and insisted we had no reservation, blaming us for arriving at this hotel instead of the one in the centre. When I showed him the reservation, he changed tack and blamed Booking. When we asked for another available room, he said there were none, then offered one at the ibis Budget at the exact location but a different price point.

Friendly staff and good value for money, as I usually find with Ibis. The beds are very good, though the bathrooms here are smaller than usual. Pets are welcome for an extra charge, and there's a small restaurant for dinner.
