What I wanted was simple: to know upfront that this aparthotel is actually part of a residence for older people, and that guests use the shared spaces and breakfast area alongside the residents. I wouldn't object to that arrangement if it were clearly explained when booking, so people could choose it for their holiday. Instead, I only found out on arrival. I respect those who are happy with this setup, but the listing needs to be transparent.
