The room was great, and the location works perfectly for a night while passing through. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of variety and quality, and the staff there were nice. The stay started well with a room upgrade, but ended on a sour note. I called reception for the Wi-Fi password and got a rude reply because they were busy with another guest, then they hung up. I never got internet access.

The dinner restaurant waiter was excellent and spoke good English. The restaurant staff were patient, cheerful, and professional, and handled our group really well. Another female receptionist was also good. But the receptionist on the morning of 10.7 was unprofessional. We had already paid the city tax, yet he asked every guest to pay it again, including me. I tried to explain, but he seemed not to believe me, and just said thanks and goodbye without a proper apology. I felt he didn’t check carefully because we were Asian and assumed we wouldn’t know. Without that incident, I’d definitely give five stars. Thanks to the waiter for a very good dinner service.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated, with modern amenities and a bed that gave me a restful night after a day exploring the city. What stood out even more was the staff’s service. They stayed attentive, handled my concerns quickly, and offered useful suggestions for local attractions. From the smooth, hassle-free check-in to the warm welcome at reception, everyone I encountered was courteous and efficient.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times over the years while travelling for holidays, and both the hotel and its location work perfectly. The frustrating part is that the restaurant is now closed on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Del Arte and Leon de Brussels are good alternatives, about a five-minute walk away.
