Première Classe Valenciennes Ouest - Petite Forêt

We were a family of four with young kids, but were first offered rooms on different floors. Thankfully, Ahmed was kind and helpful and managed to put us on the same floor, though the rooms were still a bit far apart. They’re on the outside of the building, which I hadn’t seen before. Breakfast was basic, just bread and toast with hot and cold drinks, no croissants. The morning staff member serving it was also really kind and helpful. The hotel seemed very old, the door creaked and the lock was awful. It was an okay experience. I wasn’t impressed with the hotel, but the staff were good.

The location is away from the centre, but there were plenty of restaurants and food options nearby. Everything else was a letdown. The listing on Booking.com didn’t match the place at all, and I felt ripped off. It may be the worst motel in the chain. Things that had once been white were beige with age, the rooms were cold and dark, and the bathroom was so tiny you could barely move. The service from the staff was the worst I’ve ever had. If I could, I’d give it zero stars.

Such a bad place! It felt very dangerous!!!

Good morning. What’s going on at this hotel? People can’t really be celebrating here until 4:30 a.m.! Update: The reception staff took my concern seriously and resolved it very quickly. They were helpful, professional and polite. Thanks a lot 👍 Highly recommended because of the competent staff!!!!!
