Even after several weeks without rain, the beautiful river still had plenty of refreshing water. The campground is lovely and clearly cared for with a lot of love, and the people running it are welcoming and helpful. I’d definitely recommend it for a quiet stay or as a base for exploring the region.
Being right by the river was a huge plus. There are lovely little swimming spots, a lifesaver in 35-degree heat. We loved this small, quiet campsite. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and Jonathan was very helpful. There’s also a very nice little bar and restaurant five minutes away on foot.
We loved our stay in the campervan. The campsite was spotlessly clean, with spacious, well-kept pitches. Ours was shaded by established Plane Trees, and the modern toilet block was immaculate. The hosts were friendly and hardworking, and it was perfect to cool off in the river right next to the site. And to whoever did the artwork, 👏 👌 🙌 🥰
It was a great stay for my wife, our two kids, and me, and I’m sure we’ll be back soon. I found it one of the most peaceful places I’ve ever been to: quiet, clean, and tidy. The staff, including Jonathan, were helpful, supportive, and respectful. Our room was very clean, and the bathrooms and toilets were especially spotless. I highly recommend it for nature lovers.
The region is beautiful, and the camp is well cared for, with a spotless bathroom. The owner is very friendly, and the river right in front is amazing in summer. One small thing to know is that there’s little public transport in the area, but that’s no issue if you have a car. Great for families.
