Auberge Les Galets Hotel Restaurant

The beds were really comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and spotless. The whole hotel felt cosy and well cared for. We ended up there in winter after our car broke down, and Laurent was a huge help. He called the garage and insurance company for us and stayed available throughout. We’d have been lost without his support, and we’re very grateful. He’s a genuinely kind person with a big heart.

We had a wonderful meal and Jock was a fantastic host. It’s such a lovely little place, and we also got to meet some really nice people.

We found it an easy place to use as a stop on the way elsewhere, though the lovely countryside and small villages nearby would also make a great base for exploring. The restaurant serves delicious food at fair prices, and there’s an excellent wine list. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and spoke good English when needed. Nothing felt like too much trouble. A real gem of a hotel and restaurant, highly recommended.

The restaurant was excellent, especially the amazing tarte au citron, and the price felt low for the quality, season, and France. We were stuck at the hotel all day because our car had broken down, but the swimming pool made it a relaxing place to wait. The team welcomed us so warmly and even picked us up from the garage. We also had a comfortable room for three. Thank you all so much.
