Akena City Pezenas

Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of choice and freshly made, delicious food. The hotel is in a quiet, well-connected spot near the beautiful village of Pézenas. Staff were excellent, very friendly, and always ready to help. My room was comfortable, very clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. It was a decent size, not new but very well maintained. A good hotel for travelers, and I’d recommend it.

A quiet area, friendly staff and a good breakfast. The hotel is basic, but the mattress was comfortable and there was a small table to work at.

We arrived late, after working hours, and the woman at reception still helped us make a reservation. She was very friendly and helpful.

The beds were comfortable, and the room and bathroom seemed clean. The restaurant next door was excellent, which was a contrast to our stay. We’d been at their Dreux site the night before, so this was a real disappointment. Room 114 was apparently an “upgrade,” offered by a smiling receptionist who spoke perfect English, but it smelled strongly of pets or soiled carpet when we arrived. We’d only booked a couple of hours earlier and the hotel was showing as “complet,” so we didn’t complain and hoped we’d get used to it. The air conditioning worked and kept a good temperature, but it was very noisy.
