Hotel Restaurant Le Domaine des Oliviers

The staff were lovely, and I really liked the restaurant. I’d be glad to visit this hotel again.

The room was clean, and my Suite Std was spacious, with a couch, though the bed was hard. You can hear noise from the corridor when people walk by. The pool is outdoors and unheated, so it was very cold at the end of October, even with sunny weather and 25°C outside. Breakfast costs €15 and feels rather small. You can boil your own eggs, and the fresh fruit and orange juice press are a plus. The front desk staff speak English, but the breakfast staff don't. In the evening the desk is unattended and sends you to the bar or restaurant, where they don't know English. Parking can be difficult if you arrive late, around 9 PM, since the restaurant is popular. Carrefour and Aldi Market are about a five-minute walk away. Coffee pods for the machine cost €1.50, which I don't think is okay for an expensive suite. They should be included. There's no tea or kettle either. All in all, three out of five.

We found the hotel on Google Maps and stayed for two nights, with breakfast included. There was everything I could think of at breakfast. The rooms were large and clean, with a good toilet and shower. The pool was nice, though too deep for children who can't swim. It's close to the highway, and I'd recommend it.

We only meant to stop for lunch, but ended up having a royal feast. The food was incredible, and the staff were very polite and friendly. The kids enjoyed every dish, while the desserts were something special. Try the eclaire with strawberries, it was a total blast for the senses.
