The rooms were spacious, comfortable, very clean, and had a small fridge. The AC and WiFi worked well, and there was a nice breakfast and parking on site. It's a great place for a night or a few, especially with family. The beach is a three-minute walk away, and the owner rents out parasols, loungers, and more. He was super nice and friendly, and speaks English. If I return to Corsica, I'll definitely stay at Macchia e Mare again. Highly recommended.

The location is ideal, with lovely restaurants around the bay and lots of beautiful beaches. We had a fantastic four days at the hotel, and it was our first time in Corsica. The host welcomed us warmly, shared tips for nearby places, and did all he could to make us comfortable. The rooms have a simple vintage look, and the cozy French-style lobby feels like stepping back in time. Breakfast was excellent. We'd definitely like to return.
