Casa Musicale

We spent one night at the hotel, with dinner and breakfast there. The staff were super friendly, and dinner was outstanding; breakfast was good too. It's a cute hilltop location with a sunset view. The room was quite warm without AC, but I'd still give it five out of five.

We had a really good dinner at this restaurant in the beautiful little town of Pigna, with an amazing view during a lovely sunset. The cheeses on offer were great, and so was the grill. Prices seemed in line with Corsican standards, and the wine list had good options, though I thought it was a bit expensive. A cool spot to enjoy in the Balagne.

We liked it so much that we ate here two nights running. The staff were very attentive, and the local cooking was both creative and fabulous, with a magnificent view. Get there in time for sunset 🌇. The pumpkin soup and lamb tagine were favorites.

The setting is lovely, but from the moment we arrived we could feel the tension between the waiter and waitress, and it made us feel unwelcome. We saw other customers get the same treatment. The waitress was clearly harried, but worked extremely hard to keep things moving while the male waiter disappeared during service. When he was working, he even took an order from the lower terrace by shouting down from the top instead of walking over. The food was basic and very expensive. We've eaten much better elsewhere in the region.
