We stayed in one of the modern, comfortable standalone houses just up the road, with lots of other accommodation on site too. We were there for a weekend-long wedding and the place worked really well for keeping the party together, since the whole venue was ours. The French countryside setting was idyllic and very calm. Staff were friendly and handled the big crowd capably. The amenities were good, and they got things ready quickly when rain came in. A really enjoyable place to stay.

Julie and her team were brilliant all weekend, making sure everyone was having a good time and had what they needed. We got married here in June 2025, and every one of our guests said the venue was amazing. The grounds, accommodation, and facilities had everything we needed, with all our guests staying onsite. They arranged a pizza night and a BBQ for the wedding weekend, and both were amazing. A perfect place to get married. We’ll definitely be back.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Longeveau for weddings, celebrations, or a large gathering, and we hope to return many times. It’s hard to imagine a better fit for a wedding or group of 100-plus people. We used it as the hub for our wedding weekend, with over 80 guests staying onsite. The well-priced gîtes are close together, so everyone could be together and still have their own space. It felt like a little village taken over by friends and family, relaxed and social. Welcoming guests on Friday and watching them discover Longeveau was a lovely moment, as was a relaxed Sunday BBQ with lawn games. The best part was having our closest friends and family together there for the whole weekend. Un vrai coup de cœur. Julie and the team were fantastic during planning, with clear, calm, reassuring communication. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. The onsite staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and many happily switched to English, which our guests appreciated. The setting in the rolling hills of the Dordogne is stunning and truly tranquil. You need a car to get around, and a basic level of fitness helps in this rural setting, but that’s part of the charm. There’s a nearby Spar within a scenic walk, and onsite you feel nicely removed from everyday bustle. The accommodation was spotless, well equipped for self-catering, and each cottage had its own character and outdoor space, either a small garden or balcony, often with a barbecue. Our guests gave only positive feedback, including families who used cots and other amenities. The two pools were popular. We didn’t have quite enough time for the tennis courts or 9-hole golf course, but we’re already talking about coming back to try them. A favourite little touch was ordering fresh bakery produce at the bar the day before and collecting it in the morning. Coffee and pastries in that lovely setting were a highlight. The bar and terrace were gorgeous at sunset, with a great drinks selection at fair prices and impeccable bar staff. The simple ready-to-go food was welcome too.

A little slice of heaven on earth. Julie and her team organised a perfect wedding for our party of 100, with guests staying across the Longeveau estate. Everyone felt special and had a wonderful time. The cottages and facilities were beautiful and immaculately clean, the food was great, the views wonderful, the service brilliant, and every guest received a warm welcome. We visited before the wedding and will come back. I can’t recommend Longeveau enough. Thank you!

We performed as singing waiters at a wedding at the beautiful Manoir de Longeveau, and want to thank the whole team for having us. From arrival, the staff welcomed us warmly and made sure we had what we needed for a smooth, unforgettable surprise for the guests. Their coordination, professionalism, and hospitality made our job much easier and a lot of fun. The atmosphere was electric, and it was a pleasure to be part of such a special event in such a stunning setting. A great wedding venue and a place for holidays too. We hope to return for more surprises, smiles, and song. Thanks again for your support and for trusting us with your celebrations. Photos by John Armstong Miller, taken at Longeveau May 2024.
