The castle grounds are gorgeous, and the renovation work has been done and cared for beautifully. We loved the whole stay. The hotel’s bold architecture made us think of being aboard a spaceship. The staff were wonderful, and breakfast was very good, though, as is often the case in hotels, it was expensive. We couldn’t get a last-minute table at the Michelin-starred restaurant, which we would have loved to try. We felt lucky to have had such a heavenly experience.

The rooms are compact, but thoughtfully put together, and the interiors live up to the striking exterior. Our room on the fifth floor had a lovely view over the estate and Château, while the ground-floor rooms each have their own outdoor seating area. The self-service breakfast had plenty of choice and was a bargain at €9. Staff were attentive and gave us very personal service. The place is a stunning sight on arrival and just as impressive inside. I’d gladly come back, even if I had to go out of my way. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We only stayed one night as a stop on the way to our final destination, but the staff made us feel so welcome. They had carefully set up the room with everything we needed for our 11-month-old, including a cot, changing station, bottle warmers, and baby toiletries. The hotel’s design is really interesting, and the spa was just what we needed after a long day of driving. The restaurant next door was fully booked, but reception had food options that could be warmed up. We’ll definitely come back. Many thanks for your hospitality ❤️

We really enjoyed the restaurant, from the fresh, well-prepared food and drinks to the warm atmosphere and lovely views over the grounds. The indoor pool was another favorite, spotless and made distinctive by a striking diving sculpture. It was a relaxing place to unwind after exploring. The hotel combines comfort and tranquility with striking modern design. Our cozy, minimalist room had a large circular window that brought in lots of daylight and made the space feel intimate. The Essenciel Hotel at Le Château des Pères has truly one-of-a-kind architecture, blending futuristic touches with the natural surroundings. It exceeded our expectations and made for an unforgettable stay.

A really distinctive hotel and setting, with a relaxing, positive feel. The pool, hamam, and sauna made it a great place to unwind. The breakfast buffet costs 18 euro per person. It’s worth walking around the grounds to see the art sculptures, and there are lots of photo opportunities. Electric car chargers are in the parking lot, though you have to walk about three minutes outside to reach the front desk.
