My father and I spent one night at Brigitte's and had such a lovely time. Brigitte was incredibly kind and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was included, with a delicious variety of food. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Brigitte went out of her way to make us comfortable and happy, and gave us great tips for exploring the area. We loved the large beds and the quiet after long days at the Paimpol Sea Shanty Festival. The guest rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, right in the center of Pleubian. The Saturday morning market outside the entrance was charming and lively, and there was plenty of parking around the village square. Breakfast was generous and varied, with fresh crusty bread, pastries, and more from the village bakery. It was served in a lovely room with carefully chosen, original decor with a very Parisian feel. Brigitte can tell you the personal story behind each object if you’d like. A wonderful find. Thank you for the warm welcome and kindness. We had a delightful stay.

The rooms are lovely, thoughtfully decorated, and have everything you might need. Brigitte welcomes us each morning with a smile and such kindness. Chambres du Sillon is well worth the detour if you're visiting Paimpol. We highly recommend it.

We left the next morning because the experience was awful. The owner spoke to us in French at breakfast in front of everyone and seemed to make fun of our complaints. As we left, she again said in French that the problem was ours and suggested we should have booked a Grand Hotel nearby. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels and nothing like this has happened to me before. Booking.com refunded a small part, but 78 euros was not worth it. Maybe the other rooms are better, but I say, DON'T GO THERE! The listing charged for air conditioning, but the owner's son said the property had never had it. He said it wasn't needed because nights are cold even in August, but it's unfair to charge for a service that isn't there. The issue with our room, number 3, was a window that wouldn't open. Luckily, the owner's son who welcomed us moved us to room number 5. When we got in, the toilet was dirty and the shower wasn't very clean. He promptly got cleaning supplies, fixed the toilet problem, and changed the shower mat. We thanked him and mentioned the dirty shower and limescale covered showerhead, but decided to put up with it. He said there was no Wi-Fi when we asked, though we later noticed it was available at the hotel entrance. The rest of the room was dirty too, with dust on the bedside lights and TV, a peeling window frame, and mold on the curtains. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable, and the walls were so thin we could hear everything next door. I called Booking.com right away to report it. The owner replied that the air conditioning wasn't needed and the price difference would be 1 euro. She apologized for the dirty bathroom but insisted it was cleaned every day. And thank goodness, I thought. Breakfast didn't inspire much confidence in the hygiene either. The fridge holding water, fruit juice, and cured meats was uncovered and covered in mold. The croissant and chocolate cake baskets had no tongs, so everyone had to use their hands. The owner served tea and coffee at the tables, then moved croissants between baskets with her bare hands. I pinched my nose and went out for dinner the night before. The next morning, I left immediately after breakfast. And no, the 1 euro tourist tax wasn't necessary since there was no air conditioning.

Brigitte welcomed us so warmly, and the room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was just right for hikers. From the two Vendée residents, night of July 6th to 7th.
