L'Araucaria

July 2nd to 4th. The view over the magnificent landscape is breathtaking, just as it looks in the photos, and we slept very well in the excellent beds. Breakfast was also faultless. The cottage itself could use a real facelift and some modernization, which the photos don’t show. We also found the hosts being there from the start of breakfast a bit much. After the usual courtesies, we would have liked some privacy to eat alone.

We spent four days here as a group of 15, and we’ll all remember it fondly. The cottage has plenty of charm and is still comfortable, in a beautiful spot in the Breton countryside. The owner made us feel very welcome. If you want a peaceful getaway, this is a lovely place. Thank you!

The attic room was lovely, with a superb view, and breakfast bread made with fresh local ingredients was delicious. It’s peaceful here, and there’s plenty for kids to enjoy, from the swimming pool and ping-pong table to pétanque, the swing, and even chickens. This was our first time in a guesthouse, and the owners made it a fantastic experience. They were down-to-earth, friendly, and so welcoming. Highly recommended!

Even with the gloomy weather, we enjoyed this charming gîte and had a lovely romantic weekend. The Marine room was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and full of thoughtful little touches. Nathalie, sorry, but it isn’t possible to leave a review on Smartbox 😉 Thanks again for your hospitality. We got a very warm welcome, helpful tips on local attractions, and plenty of attentive care.
