La Grange de Coatélan

It was clean and tidy, and there was a bath. The place was very quiet, but it wasn’t for us. Breakfast wasn’t great either, with not much choice.

The trails are amazing, though the markings can be confusing and it’s hard to find the system at first.

The blue room was lovely, and the setting feels peaceful even though Morlaix is only 15 minutes away. La Grange has a charming cottage with thoughtful decor. Yolande enthusiastically and generously shared the stories behind the details, and that same generosity showed at breakfast, with crusty bread, pancakes, and other treats. It’s a timeless place where you can settle in and get swept up in the encounters and stories of people’s lives. Thanks as well for being so available and flexible. I highly recommend it!

There’s a goat, a sheep, and a donkey wandering around the property for the kids. The donkey likes the apples that fall from the trees and will gladly come over if someone offers one. The rooms are spacious, each one has its own character, and they’re cleaned with great care. Breakfast is generous, made by the owner with local products, and she’s always available with information. It’s a romantic place that also works for families, with so much care put into the details. The atmosphere feels out of this world, and even a few days here are worth experiencing. A magical spot to recharge.
