A chic, lovely hotel with smart decor and nice facilities. It’s a handy base for couples wanting to explore Carnac and Quiberon by car or bike.

The hosts are knowledgeable and give personal attention, and nothing seems too much trouble. We had friendly service, a charming atmosphere and an excellent breakfast. There’s a free indoor sauna and an outdoor pool, plus massages and other treatments. Men should bring tight or close-fitting moulded trunks for the dress code, not loose swim shorts. Very individual, and highly recommended.

Breakfast was amazing, and the cleaning service was super fast, though there wasn’t a hot breakfast option. I really enjoyed our Easter weekend at this charming little hotel. We had a massage for two and used the hammam, indoor and outdoor pools, and jacuzzi. The welcome was unlike any I’d had elsewhere, and although it’s rated three stars, I’d happily give it 3+ or even 4. The sauna temperature was much lower than it should be. I also found access to the outdoor pool awkward, as it isn’t easy to reach within the spa area.

The grounds and pool were lovely, and breakfast was outstanding. When we arrived, we got a thorough overview of the area that was really useful. The owners and staff made our stay at Carnac Lodge so pleasant. We hope to come back!

We’ve stayed at Carnac Lodge twice, and it feels more like staying with friends than being customers. The owners and staff are very pleasant, and this cosy, comfortable little hotel has a lovely garden, sauna and heated pool. The French breakfast is awesome. We’re already looking forward to another visit.
