We were walking the GR34 as a couple and arrived tired before 5 p.m. The welcome was amazing, and they let us in early. Although the family were going to a party that evening, they still helped us book dinner at a superb local restaurant and arrange our next night's stay at another wonderful place. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, with an en-suite shower and basin. The toilet was separate, and they'd thoughtfully provided a dressing gown. Breakfast was tasty, generous, and served in a friendly family atmosphere. We weren't put off by the previous negative reviews, which seemed inspired by Twitter. Thank you!

The hosts are charming but discreet, and the breakfast is super generous. The accommodation is well equipped and sits right by the GR34 trail. Shops in Plénéour-Trez are just 1 km away, so getting groceries is no problem. Great!

The owners were very unfriendly, and we've had much better stays along the GR 34. This cottage costs far too much for what it offers. The roadside setting was noisy, and it wasn't spotless. We were told we should have let them know we needed the bike, but that wasn't mentioned on the website. Breakfast was priced like a hotel meal but mediocre, and we had to ask for toilet paper. They also expected us to take out the rubbish without providing any bags.
