The children had plenty to do and could play in safe surroundings, and the whole place felt quiet and relaxing. It’s well-equipped, too. Marie-Anne and Didier are such kind, welcoming hosts, just lovely people. A beautiful place that I’d happily recommend.

After a long trip from Mont Saint Michael and Rennes, this was a relaxing place to spend the night before heading to Rochefort-en-Terre, just a ten-minute drive away. We loved the building, the rooms’ decorations, and the hosts, and the handmade breakfast was amazing. Good value, and I’d definitely recommend it.

We stayed five nights in August 2019 in Ti Bihan, and the garden and pool made the stay even better. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had, with something different each day. Marie-Anne and Didier were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and Didier gave us lots of useful suggestions for restaurants, activities, beaches, pretty towns, and other sights around the golf du Morbihan. Rochefort-en-Terre is nearby, with a few good dinner options once the tourists have left after 7pm. It’s an excellent place, and we wholeheartedly recommend it.

Aux Agapanthes was a delightful base for exploring the beautiful countryside nearby, and we were very happy there. We spent a week in August 2018 and were sorry to leave. Marianne and Didier Verget are charming, generous, funny, and engaged hosts, while also being very professional. They seem like a happy couple and a great team, just as their website photo suggests. Our ground-floor room was clean, quiet, convenient, and comfortable, close to the lovely pool and breakfast room. Breakfasts were superb, and we also prepared and ate most of our evening meals in that room. There are plenty of worthwhile places to visit nearby. The hills could be daunting for us non-Lycra cyclists, so we usually put the bikes in the car and drove to one of the nearby access points on the Brest to Nantes canal (L’Oust). Cycling along it was lovely, with pretty villages and flower-filled lock keepers’ cottages, and the canal was remarkably free of litter. It’s hard to pick a favorite stop, but we especially enjoyed the moules frites at Chez Bernard in St Martin.
