The room was pleasant and clean, though finding the bed and breakfast wasn’t easy. That was the only good part. Breakfast didn’t look like the photos, even though there was enough to eat, and getting to the room meant passing through the owners’ dining room, which wasn’t convenient. There was also noise from pots, pans, and utensils being handled in the kitchen. It made us feel too much like part of the household, which was frustrating when we wanted to switch off and feel on holiday. There’s no dining area, so you have to plan to eat lunch and dinner out. I hope the owner won’t contact me, since she seems to do that only when she receives comments she dislikes.

Marie gave us excellent suggestions for local sights and made us feel very welcome. Parking was assured in the designated driveway, and access was easy. Our double room was very comfortable, with impeccable bedding, and the shower room and toilet were perfectly clean and well-equipped. Thanks for the delicious homemade crepes and jams at breakfast!

We came to see Rochefort-en-Terre and its Christmas lights, and are already thinking about booking again. Marie was a charming, welcoming host, and meeting her was a real pleasure. Her house is just as lovely, well cared for, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. Breakfast was a treat, with crepes, bread, ham and cheese, pastries, and a range of homemade jams. Nothing was missing. We highly recommend it!

I felt very welcome here, and the people were friendly. I would have appreciated having a blanket in the closet, but that was only a small complaint. I highly recommend this place.

The house is nicely laid out and very clean, with a warm welcome from a very pleasant couple. It’s a good option for a one- or two-night stay, and breakfast was very complete.
