The rooms are small, but the staff are friendly. I really like the hotel's optical illusion theme.

There were no towels, and the hotel room had no A/C. We were only told that the A/C was broken, with no compensation offered, such as a price adjustment, water, or ice cream. The only option was to leave the window open overnight, but it was really noisy with trains, drunk people, and traffic.

I chose this hotel because it's right beside the office I was visiting. The train station is next door, so getting to Paris is easy and takes about 25 minutes. There are also several restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are very small but clean, and the shower is good, though small too. There wasn't much noise despite the busy roundabout outside. Breakfast is available and good, but they don't serve other meals. There's a small bar in the evenings.

Breakfast was for runaways, and one of the two coffee machines was broken. The bathroom ceiling had mold, and the toilet space was so tight my knees touched the opposite wall when I sat down. Maintenance is poor. The room was incredibly tiny. With my suitcase there, I could barely move around the bed, and the only way to keep it open was to sleep beside one half of it. There's no other space. You're right between major roads and a train station, so it's noisy in every room. The windows have two sets of double glazing to try to keep the noise down. But when the climate control doesn't work, you have to open the window. Bring earplugs if you want to sleep. For a long time, this was the dirtiest, noisiest, tiniest hotel I've ever stayed in. Tourists should avoid it, and business travelers should try somewhere else. Sorry, Ibis, this was really underwhelming. I'll avoid this particular one from now on. Life's too short.
