Getting here from the train station means a bit of uphill walking. It’s very walkable, but with large bags or mobility issues, I’d take a taxi. The hotel itself is central and comfortable, and the staff I met were lovely. They were happy to hold my bags when I arrived well before check-in.

This really isn’t a four-star hotel. The toilet was dirty and leaking, the shower was tiny and splashed water everywhere, the pillowcases were dirty, and the towels were paper thin. Bad service and lots of noise outside.

We had a quiet, spacious room on the top floor, tastefully decorated and extremely clean. It was comfortable, with good Wi-Fi and an excellent shower. The hotel has been beautifully renovated recently and is right in the centre of Poitiers, with parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

We were driving south to see friends and broke up the journey with one night in Poitiers. The central hotel was hugely convenient, and its own underground car park next door was very useful. The bedrooms were spacious and perfectly fine. We skipped breakfast so we could wander around the pretty town centre on a sunny morning.

I’ve stayed here several times. The rooms and beds are very comfortable, and it’s a really quiet hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. It’s also close to a good selection of restaurants and the centre ville.
