The receptionist was really friendly and accommodating. It’s fine for a one-night stop while travelling. The room and bedding are basic and could do with a refresh, including better soundproofing.

We stopped here on the way to Bordeaux after seeing how the owner replied to a one-star review. He was right: it’s peaceful, very clean, well located, and great value. I can’t imagine the person who rated it one star had stayed here, unless they’re a petit petit homme.

A small, friendly budget hotel with an EV charger. Pets are welcome too.

We used the Macbed for an overnight break on the way to our holiday. The rates are very reasonable, and it’s a clean, practical hotel with friendly staff. There isn’t much in the way of food service there, but there are several places to eat nearby. I’d gladly stay again if I’m in the area.

There’s a good buffet restaurant next door for dinner, as well as a Burger King. The rooms are clean and well equipped with everything you need, and breakfast is excellent for the price. We’ll certainly stay here again on our trips to Spain.
