Just off the village square, this hotel was a great find. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, with a comfortable bed. We'd happily recommend it.

The Clos is a striking historic building with lovely stone details in the pretty town of Poligny. I was there for one night in February on a business trip, and parking nearby made arrival easy. Anne-Clare and Mathias were warm, welcoming hosts. My room was clean and spacious, with tasteful decor and a very comfortable bed. I especially liked the breakfast basket, filled with items from the local bakery and other suppliers. I wish I'd had more time to explore, and would certainly stay again.

The spa was a highlight: a few steps through the garden take you to a cozy, romantic cheese cellar with a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and rest area. We also booked a massage in our room, and it was a great experience. Our room was large, clean, and nicely set up, with a shower, towels, coffee machine, and TV. There's also a fully equipped kitchen next door, along with a large dining room.

The apartments are cozy and spacious, with a nice garden, right in the city centre. They even leave a bottle of crémant in the fridge to welcome you. The one drawback is that the spa is overpriced.
