La Passerelle de Pont-Aven

We spent a small week here and I could easily have stayed longer. Even though the town isn't very big, the hotel has a lovely atmosphere, and going to the beach by car is an option. The rooms were very clean and well organized, with beautiful interior details. Yves made tasty breakfasts every day with so much care, choosing the fruit, cheese, and breads thoughtfully. He was helpful with all our questions, and I felt relaxed staying here. This place has a special feeling in my heart now. Thank you, Yves and Pont Aven. La Passerelle is perfectly placed for a visit to Pont Aven. We walked to restaurants, cafes, the museum, forest, shops, and chapel. I'll definitely come back.

Our travel plans were disrupted, and we were left standing in the rain with all our luggage. We'd booked three months ahead directly through the website and received an email confirmation, but when we arrived by taxi at 7pm on the day of our stay, the place was locked and nobody was inside. I called the host and was told our reservation had been cancelled, he was in Paris, and nothing could be done. In the message exchange attached, he said I'd given him the wrong email address. That's strange, since we received his confirmation email. The host cancelled without notifying us. Please stay away from this place!

The owner had the heating on before we arrived and gave us some tips about what to see in Pont Aven. Our room overlooked the river, was very spacious, and had a clean bathroom. We booked this charming hotel for one night during our stay in Pont Aven, and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is nicely decorated, and breakfast was delicious, especially the coffee. Can only recommend it.

After a hectic month travelling around Paris, Bordeax and Aix-en-Provence, my mother and I spent a week in Pont Aven. La Passerelle felt like such a peaceful, lovely refuge, and we fell for the town so much I wanted to move there. Our room was lovely, the setting was gorgeous, and Yves was the best host we could have asked for. Thanks again, Yves. We’ll be back!
