We’re so glad we made it back to this lovely gîte. The hosts are thoughtful and kind, and it’s a wonderful family, with other animals too! The pool and the space around it are lovely, and the countryside is glorious. We love how easy it is to get to Montélimar, Avignon, St Rémy and St Paul de Mausole, Mont Ventoux, the Vercors, Les Trois Becs and plenty more. We can’t wait to return and find out how the rare Poitou donkeys are doing.

The pool was a lovely place to relax, and we enjoyed chatting with the other guests. Tracy and Mark made the whole visit special with their hosting. After seven years away, my partner and I returned to Les Beaux Chênes and found it even more enchanting than before. The property is spacious, set among the rolling hills, old villages and hiking paths of the Drôme region. We loved seeing the donkeys, special geese, hens, rabbits and Morris, the friendliest dog. It was a magical stay, and we can’t wait to come back.

The grounds were lovely, and we enjoyed the company of the donkeys, hens and geese 😎. Tracy and Mark looked after us so well during our delightful six-night visit. They’re a charming, helpful and welcoming couple. Our accommodation was comfortable and well equipped, and the pool was lovely too. We enthusiastically recommend staying here and will definitely return 😎😊

Being close to all the lovely animals was a highlight for our family, and we even got to stroke a baby-donkey. Maurice, the family dog, has a special place in our hearts now. We spent almost two weeks at Les Beaux Chaînes, and Tracey and Mark made it feel like staying with friends, even though we were far from home. Our apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped, with everything we needed and more. There are lovely walks nearby, and plenty to explore in the Drôme, from a nature park to an exciting city trip. After a busy day, we loved coming back to the apartment and watching the beautiful sunset over the fields near Pont-de-Barret. We won’t soon forget our holiday, and we’ll be back for sure.

We’ve stayed here for three years running. Les Beaux Chenes is a beautiful place close to the little village of Pont de Barret, and Tracy and Mark’s hospitality makes it feel like coming home. We feel lucky to have found it and will return next year!
