The staff were kind and professional, and made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived. Hôtel de La Tour has a lovely mix of charm, comfort, and convenience. I really enjoyed my stay.

We'd booked, paid, and had confirmation, but when we arrived the hotel was shut. We rang the bell and knocked hard enough that we may have woken the neighbours. Nobody came to let us in. Now we're trying to get our money back.

After driving 650 miles, we arrived to find nobody there, and then it started raining. We'd booked, given them our arrival time, and received a confirmation email. The bell got no response, and the phone went straight to voicemail. Useless.

The breakfast was good, both in taste and portion size. The hotel has an old-fashioned style, and while the furniture is old, everything was very clean. Staff speak little English.

We had a booking, but the place was closed. There were people inside, yet they weren't helpful, and we were turned away.
