We only stayed one night, and since it was out of season there weren’t many other guests. The manager was friendly and gave us a nice welcome. We had a good dinner in town and slept well. For the location and price, my wife and I were happy with our stay.

The welcome was lovely, and having a kettle and microwave was a nice touch. The site looked a bit untidy, with the grass needing attention, and the facilities felt dated, though three stars may be a little harsh. Pont is a nice little town, with a couple of bars less than a five-minute walk away.

Camping L’Ile d’Amour made for a wonderful stay last week. The amenities were high quality and spotlessly clean. It’s a convenient base for discovering the Yonne region, with plenty of outdoor activities, especially fishing, and easy access to bucolic French villages such as Pont sur Yonne and Sens. I’ll definitely come back.

Our stay was very peaceful at this quiet campsite. The host was friendly, the washrooms were clean, and walking along the river Yonne was lovely.

A fantastic host and a calm, peaceful setting, with lots to do and easy access to all the amenities. This is the place to be!
