The room itself was clean, and the sheets were acceptable. It was pretty much what I expected when I booked, and breakfast was pleasant for the price, though there wasn't much to choose from. What brought my rating down was the smell. Each time we came back in, we had to open the window because it was so bad. The sink seemed to leak, and staff had wrapped a plastic bag around the siphon as a repair. It might have helped if the bag had been changed occasionally, but it was already full of old, yellowish water when we arrived. Maybe that caused the odor. We complained several times, but housekeeping only made the beds and left the bag as it was. The hotel is also beside a busy road and an airfield, so closing the window at night may be best. One thing I hadn't realized before arriving: the bathrooms and toilets are in the corridor. I'd have given it three stars otherwise, but these issues left it at two.

We booked late while heading home from a holiday in Cannes, Dongo and Switzerland, and just needed somewhere to rest. It was perfect for that, and fantastic value. The rooms were clean, with fresh white sheets, and we really needed the rest. The woman who checked us in was polite, helpful and spoke good English, even though our two children speak good French. Breakfast was good value and the coffee was nice. No croissants, though! Thank you, F1.

The room reeked of sewage, and the showers were covered in mold. Simply disgusting. I won't stay at an F1 hotel again.

You can see the hotel staff have taken earlier complaints and requests into account. As usual, the price and quality are in line.
