We had dinner at the hotel restaurant in Pontlevoy and loved it. The place is small, which adds to the atmosphere, and the service was excellent. The food was classic French cuisine, with especially exceptional duck.

Having dinner in the garden on a summer evening was a real highlight. The menu is very good, the staff are friendly, and breakfast was delicious. The rooms offer the basic comforts you need and are comfortable. It’s a discreet, authentic little hotel near Chenonceaux. I recommend it.

The dinner in the garden was great, and the breakfast buffet had a huge selection, all very tasty. Our spacious room stayed beautifully cool. It’s a lovely hotel in a quiet village with an excellent kitchen. We were only passing through and sadly could stay just one night.

Dinner was spectacular. The courtyard is lovely, with a fountain and lots of places to sit. The rooms were clean and spacious by Paris standards. They’re not fancy, but good value.

Auberge de l’Ecole is well placed for many of the chateaux, and we had a great stay. The staff were friendly, the food was great, and the price was reasonable. The rooms were clean, though they could have been bigger, especially for the cost. I’d warmly recommend it.
