B&B La Ferme Des Bordes

We loved our stay. Our single room, Flowers, was tastefully decorated, clean, and welcoming, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was large and the toilet separate. Breakfast was good, parking was ample, and the hosts were very kind and helpful. It’s a quiet, idyllic spot, about 20 minutes from Chaumont-sur-Loire.

The location is great for getting to lots of castles and Beauval zoo, and it’s a lovely spot to relax. Everything feels pretty and peaceful, and the lady makes a great breakfast. One caveat if you’re a light sleeper like me: the roosters start crowing from 5 a.m., so there’s no sleeping in. Still, I had a really good stay.

We had a very relaxing two-night stay at the farmhouse, with a spotless room and excellent homemade breakfast and dinner, both served in very generous portions. The owners were incredibly kind and attentive, and welcomed us so warmly. Thanks for such a pleasant visit. We highly recommend it! 😉👍

The dinners were delicious and generous, and breakfast was hearty. Our hosts were welcoming and looked after us really well. We enjoyed the peaceful stay near the castles, and even had the house dog join us for a short walk around the farm. Maybe the wallpaper could use refreshing, but that didn’t spoil anything. The owners’ kindness and the pleasant encounters with the other guests more than made up for that. Thank you for everything.
