July 2018 A few hours away from all the bustle, it felt like we were right in the heart of Mont Saint-Michel, which is just down the street. This little place is authentic and refined, and we were welcomed so warmly. At sunrise, a cleverly positioned window turned the view into a living painting, best enjoyed from bed. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with such warmth. Just human.

We had a little house to ourselves, with a living room, TV, armchair, microwave, and a fireplace that heated the whole place. The owner was respectful, punctual, kind, and passionate about Mont Saint-Michel. He used to be a guide there and speaks excellent French and English. A generous breakfast was included in the price. In the mornings and evenings a large flock of sheep passes along the street, so watch out with your motorcycle. There’s a small barn for bicycles, motorcycles, and scooters that seems secure. The room is old and lets in morning light, and the stairs are extremely narrow. The other guests were very pleasant and welcoming, the sort of people you rarely meet. I recommend it. My rating: 9 out of 10.
