La Vieille Foulonnière

The breakfast was perfect, and the host made us feel so welcome, like we were visiting very hospitable French friends. The place is beautiful and clearly well cared for, and the host was incredibly friendly. It was an amazing, one-of-a-kind stay, one of our best. Thanks for everything. We highly recommend it and would definitely visit and stay again!

The house has a charming, lived-in feel, with antiques that show its history, while still being clean and professional. From the many windows we enjoyed views of the old church and farmland, and the spacious room had a private bathroom. Breakfast was a treat, with different breads, custard, and jams Sibyle made from her garden. Even on a rainy night, Sibyle came out with her little baby to welcome our group of three. She was generous, kind, and easy to communicate with. Check-in and check-out were simple, and there’s gated private parking. It’s a short drive to Mont St Michel, with restaurants and grocery stores also nearby by car. I’d highly recommend staying here and hope to come back someday!

We only stayed one night, but really liked this quiet place. The welcoming host family, nice room, and good breakfast made it a relaxing stop. It’s well located for visiting Mont Saint Michel and exploring the surrounding area. We’d recommend it, especially for families with kids.

The family-run guesthouse is just a short drive from Mont Saint Michel, and we’d strongly recommend it if you’re visiting. We enjoyed the spacious, well-organized rooms and their authentic interior. Breakfast was delicious and made with local food. There’s private parking and an EV charger, too. We had a great stay!
