The rooms were comfortable and clean, with plenty of hot water, and breakfast was great. I liked the place enough to extend my stay for another night. The owners were kind and made me feel at home after taking me in on a rainy night when the hotel I’d booked didn’t open that day. I’d give them ten stars if I could!

It’s an easy walk from the Gare, and a cozy place to stay with excellent room views. Martin at the front desk was a joy to talk with, reminding me of the mothers on 80s sitcoms. I even got to practice my French with her. It’s a comfortable, reasonably priced base for Mont Saint Michel and deserves at least two nights. Bientot!

The room was decent, and the train station is close by. But it can get uncomfortable when it’s hot: there’s no window, so you have to leave the door open, and there’s no fan. The walls are also very thin.

The room is basic, but the lady owner’s hospitality was sensational. We had a lovely three-course meal for two and half a bottle of rosé for just €46. I’d stay again if I came back one day.

The meal was fantastic from the first course to the last. We were welcomed with a glass of champagne while they got our table ready, then both chose fixed menus. Each course delivered, from the amuse-bouche and entrée to the palate cleansers, dessert, petits fours, and a nice digestif to finish. The regional specialties include seafood and mutton prepared in several ways. The building is unassuming and sits unexpectedly in an agricultural area, but inside we found incredible, artful gourmet cooking. It is a bit pricey, though completely worth it. We absolutely recommend this place.
