We found this good value for the location, close to Mont Saint-Michel and within walking distance of the park and ride or the Mont itself. Our room was big, and so was the car park. We only stayed one night, and while there was no kettle, the other amenities were good. Service was excellent: we expected to arrive after reception closed, so we called ahead. Staff explained what to do, emailed the instructions too, and even drew us a map to our room. We really appreciated that.

Very practical, nicely designed place close to the mont. Breakfast was decent, 10€. I'd just suggest a shower spray holder at head height.

If you don't have a car, I wouldn't bother staying here. The restaurants they mention are 3km away and only open for two hours, so you need to reserve well before your stay. The whole place smelled like manure, and the showers didn't drain. The gentleman at reception was friendly and helpful, but the lady was absolutely not. For me, Dinan is a much better experience, or just make this a day trip from Rennes since staying locally isn't worth it.

Watching the local Shepard bring several hundred sheep down the street past our window at 7am was a highlight. Apparently it happens every morning and evening. We also walked from the hotel, across the road and through the sheep pasture, all the way to the Mont, about 1.5 miles? The view of Mont Saint-Michel from the hotel was amazing. It's an old stone building with modern rooms, polite and helpful staff, easy check-in, and I thought the price was great value. We absolutely loved staying here.

The rooms have enough space for two adults, a baby, and a dog, and it was lovely seeing the sheep in the morning. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay and would come back if we visit MSM again.
