Eco-domaine La Fontaine

The studio was the one drawback: its bedroom is on a windowless mezzanine, so on hot summer days and nights there was no way to air it out, even when it wasn’t warm outside or in the living room. It’s a point worth addressing, though nothing too serious. The beach nearby is okay but rocky. Otherwise, everything was incredible, from the grounds and staff to the activities for children and adults. The restaurant was delicious, and the pool was perfect for relaxing. Phenomenal hotel!

The garden, with its animals and places to eat and drink, feels peaceful and welcoming, and would be lovely for couples or families. The servers were kind, friendly, and helpful, and the late checkout was much appreciated. Those little touches made the stay memorable. The spa is well equipped and just steps from the rooms. I’ve had many massages, and this was one of the best: the therapist’s voice was as gentle as the massage, which balanced softness with a firmer touch. Every detail felt carefully done, from the hot towels and oil at the start to the custom hot tea made with herbs from the garden at the end. We had a beautiful moment that felt like time had stopped. Keep the spirit.

We weren’t staying at the hotel, but went for an amazing massage and then spent an hour in the brand-new spa. The whole area is beautifully decorated, the staff were very helpful, and it all felt luxurious and relaxing. I’ll definitely come back for another massage.

The setting and food are really nice, and it seems ideal for families with children or elderly people. Sadly, the staff seemed very stressed, and dinner service took a really long time. I hope they can improve that.
