Gites Kaladja

The children were thrilled by the rabbits and cats, and we all felt at home here. There are beautiful coastal hikes nearby. The garden is tropical, thoughtfully designed, and both calming and inspiring, with eco-responsible ways of handling water and food. Breakfast was excellent too, made with fresh local ingredients and plenty of imagination. We’d definitely recommend it as a family.

The studios are good value, clean, practical, and nicely decorated, and the whole place feels welcoming. There’s a pool, garden, and a lovely shared gazebo. We really enjoyed the homemade bread and pizzas, plus the planter’s punch and accras. Secure parking was handy, and Port Louis is just 10 minutes away for diving. Breakfast was a hit with the whole family: eggs, fresh fruit, good coffee, bacon, and delicate coconut milk waffles. Myriam greeted us with cocktails and tasty accras, and we felt thoroughly spoiled by how beautiful the place is, indoors and out.

Myriam was always available and flexible, and the two of you gave us excellent service. The planters’ punch was fantastic, and the pizzas are well worth a try. Breakfast was seriously delicious and generous. We had an idyllic stay in a warm, welcoming place that was wonderfully peaceful.
