Les Trois Voiles

The harbor view from the sunny terrace was lovely, and the room was spotless after the hotel’s renovation. The bed and mattress were so comfortable that I slept better than I had in a hotel for ages. Breakfast downstairs in the restaurant was handy, and everyone from the hotel, restaurant, and harbor team was warm and welcoming. I felt at ease right away. I was here on a business trip and was really pleased with my stay at Les Trois Voiles. I used to stay at Les Lodges de Camargue, but I’m glad this hotel has reopened. I’ll choose it next time without hesitation.

The rooms were clean, the bedding was worthy of a five-star hotel, and the restaurant downstairs served excellent food at very reasonable prices. The staff were very friendly, too. There are a couple of downsides. Work on restructuring the hotel is still going on, and I hope the plans keep some apartments for stays longer than a night or two. That would be handy when working on a boat. Also, the restaurant is closed on Saturday evenings for an indefinite period. In June, that’s a real shame. The management seems not quite up to the job and should be reviewed.

I was a bit worried after reading the earlier comments, and the other hotels in Port St Louis had no rooms available. To my surprise, this turned out to be a lovely discovery. The hygiene was top-notch, the staff were friendly, and it was comfortable. Everything was there, and this is still my favorite hotel from the weekend. We had a great stay.

The mussels were absolutely divine, and the local food was delicious. The staff were friendly, and it was great that dogs were welcome. We were very happy and highly recommend it.
