The breakfast had plenty to choose from, eggs, pancakes, yogurt, Müsli and more. After our wedding, we arrived back at 6 am and sat on the Terrasse, which was fine with the owners. The hotelier and his wife were friendly and understanding, while keeping firm guest-entry rules that made sense. We had reserved all the rooms for our wedding in Portel-des-corbieres at the "salle chantefutur". The inside is unbelievably beautiful, with lovely interiors and old Mediterranean rooms. The Terrasses are great for breakfast or just relaxing. In the chilloutroom there are drinks for 1 Euro, a fridge for things you bought, a billiard table, a Kicker table and a long table to sit around. Thanks for being so professional and understanding!

There was no WiFi, and the key situation was a problem for our large group since not every room had keys. We split into smaller groups during the day, and when we came back without keys, we had to ring the bell. The man at reception was extremely rude and very annoyed about opening the door, saying it would be the last time even though it was our first. I don't think that's how a host should treat guests. I can't understand how this place got such a good rating.

Breakfast with a view of the river and the nearby stone bridge was a lovely part of our peaceful, relaxing stay. The food was homemade, with local and organic products. The location is great, and the service was outstanding overall. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay a good one. I highly recommend Relais De Tarmaroque, and we'll make sure our family stays here again.
